Employee Tuition Assistance: Doctorate-Level Programs

Employees who meet the eligibility requirements and qualify for admission will be eligible to have 50% of the cost of tuition waived. Tuition assistance for SIT doctoral-level programs will be limited to a maximum of 10 employees enrolled in the doctoral-level program at any given time. Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements outlined in section 305.1 of the HR Manual and meet the program’s criteria for admission.

For those who may be interested in taking advantage of this benefit, please note the admission application deadlines and required residencies for the doctoral cohorts. If you require a visa to attend a residency, you are strongly encouraged to complete your application as soon as possible. For questions about a program or the application process, please reach out to the graduate admissions officer for your program of interest or attend an upcoming information session with a department chair.

All Doctorates

  • Entry: One entry term each summer
  • Priority Deadline: November 1st
  • Final Deadline: January 31st
  • Format: Part-time
  • Structure: Cohort-based
  • Delivery: Primarily asynchronous with synchronous residencies
  • Residency lengths: 10-12 days

EdD in Global Education:

The Humentum Learning System offers access to self-directed trainings on a variety of topics. Please use your login information to browse and choose courses that are appropriate for your professional development. If you have not yet logged in, please contact HR@worldlearning.org to access the learning management system (LMS). Staff and faculty also receive highly discounted rates for Cornell University online certificate programs.

eCornell, Cornell University’s external education unit, provides executive development and online certificate programs to students around the world. Programs are personally developed by Cornell faculty with expertise in a wide range of topics, including leadership and management, marketing and technology, human resources, healthcare, hospitality and more.
